Francisco Resende Correia, was born on December 3
1991 in Lisbon. He attended the Higher School of Arts and
Design of Caldas da Rainha between 2008 and 2012 where he started
a Degree in Ceramics and Glass Design that has not yet been
completed and spent a year in Industrial Design.
In 2014 attended the Creative Ceramics Technical course at CENCAL -
Professional Training Center for the Ceramics Industry.
He spent about three months in S. Pedro do Corval, Alentejo,
work with Mestre Joaquim Tavares and Mestre
He has already carried out several training in the area of
Ceramics and some formations in the blowing glass area.
His work is focused on the potter's wheel, pastes
ceramics, cooking techniques and Sigilata Lands.
Currently, he develops pieces of utility character with the
brand STONEWARE, having already developed parts for the
Quinta do Tagos restaurant in Almada and the Marginal tavern in S.Martinho do Porto, and
worked together with several workshops in Lisbon to create round pieces, and pieces with
a more artistic character with its Francisco Correia Cerâmica brand and gives training in
Potter's Wheel and other ceramics-related areas.
